You may also want to use the Side-by-Side TEKS Comparison and A Vertical Look at Key Concepts and Procedures. When exploring the Side-by-Side TEKS Comparison document, focus especially on the green ideas and think about some of the "little changes" that might be easy to embed in the current curriculum.

Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Is this something I could teach my students in 2013-2014 to ease their transition to the next grade level?
  • If so, when during the year would be the best time to do so?
