Reminders:

The four pictures you see represent the four most well-known causes that the United States got involved in WWI.  It is important to remember that from 1914 when the war broke out until 1917 the United States was considered isolationist.  (That means the U.S. tried to isolate itself and stay away from the fighting nations to avoid conflict.)  Isolationism didn’t work for long.  By 1917 the U.S. was fighting in WWI.
