Just as in transportation, energy is discovered and transformed in response to the needs of society and the innovative technology of the time. Energy is the source through which movement actually works.

Similar to transportation, energy also impacts the physical environment. Take a look at the wind turbines below; they generate wind energy that uses mechanical energy to make electricity.

Consider this: In the creation of wind energy, wind turbines (pictured above), or windmills, are used to make electricity. The physical environment must be transformed by the installation of windmills.
