This section of our online course will introduce you to the many multi-faceted career opportunities that professionals can explore in the field of Risk Management.
By the time you are finished, you should be able to:
Use career planning concepts, tools, and strategies to explore a career in the area of risk management. Specifically, you'll be expected to:
- compare and contrast the fundamentals of risk management, including the nature and benefits of risk management
- discuss the role of ethics and responsibility in risk management
- compare and contrast roles, responsibilities, licensing, and certification programs of careers related to managing and analyzing personal and corporate financial portfolios, including financial planner, financial manager, financial analyst, controller, risk manager, cash manager, treasurer, and chief financial officer.
Furthermore, you should be able to access, process, maintain, evaluate, and disseminate financial information to assist business decision making. You'll be expected to:
- communicate the value of statistical information in a variety of business disciplines and environments
