This course provides a brief overview of the ESTAR and MSTAR Diagnostic Assessment, examines how the Learning Progressions fit with the Diagnostic Assessments, discusses how the Diagnostic Assessments were developed, and provides guidance on how to interpret the results.

Course Objectives

• Understand the Learning Progressions role within the Diagnostic Assessments
• Discover the importance of and how to assign the correct Diagnostic Assessment
• Familiarize oneself with how to create and interpret the reports
• Learn what to do with the data from the reports
